Dermal fillers are one of the most popular injectable aesthetics treatments we offer at our Cheshire clinic. They’re used to add volume to areas of the skin that would benefit from looking a little fuller. Common areas for fillers are lips, tear trough (under eye area), cheeks, jawline and nose (non-surgical rhinoplasty). At Renew Medical Aesthetics, we use a variety of dermal fillers which feature a blend of high quality Hyaluronic acid depending on the area treated, to provide high quality, natural looking results. At the beginning of this treatment we will apply numbing cream to the treatment area for a more comfortable experience. Most dermal fillers are formulated with hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar substance that our bodies produce. Hyaluronic acid is a water holding molecule that helps to keep skin plump and hydrated.This type of filler dissolves over time. Dermal fillers are safe and effective treatments used to volumise, smooth and hydrate with immediate non-permanent results that last 6 to 18 months depending on the area, product and person. To ensure a high level of patient satisfaction, your first dermal fillers appointment with us is a personalised consultation. During the consultation we will assess the area(s) you wish to be treated and provide any recommendations to you we see necessary. Depending on the area and type of filler used, dermal fillers tend to last 6 – 18 months.
