Service Description

PRP Facials are carried out in our Cheshire Clinic, by medically-trained Medical Aesthetics Nurses. For the treatment they take a small amount of your blood, separate its components in a centrifuge, and push the platelet rich plasma into your areas of concern, either microneedling, injections or a combination of both. Consultation: During your initial consultation, our Aesthetics Nurse will determine if a PRP Facial is an appropriate treatment for your skin concerns. They will also review your medical history, as patients with certain blood clotting conditions, or who are on certain medication may not be suitable for this treatment. Prep: Numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area for about 30 minutes, before being removed. This is effective stuff! During this time, your blood will be drawn and spun in the centrifuge to separate out the platelet rich plasma. Treatment: Depending upon your particular needs and treatment area, the Nurse will either inject the PRP into your skin using a sterile, medical needle, or combine it with micro-needling where it will be used in place of a serum.
